Indian Merchant navy physical requirement

Hi my height is 5.5 inches so can I am eligible to join Indian Merchant navy ?

If you want to join Indian Merchant navy then firstly you have to appear in NDA exam.

Requirements to join Merchant Navy-

Physical Requirements-

Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

Perfect eyesight, though marine engineers can wear spectacles for eyesight up to plus/ minus 2.5.

Colour blind people need not apply.

You must be immune to sea sickness.

Eligibility-

12th standard the age must not be less than 20, in case of any graduate age must not be more than 22.
There is an age relaxation available for female (2 yrs) and SC/ST /OBC (5 yrs) candidates.
