Physical eligibility Criteria for men-
Min. height- 165cm

5cm relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Weight should be suitable with height.

Chest- 84cm (min)
5cm relaxation for OBC/SC/ST

Physical eligibility Criteria for women-

Height - min. 150cm
5cm relaxation for OBC/SC/ST.

Weight should be suitable with height.

Chest- min.79cm
5cm relaxation for OBC/SC/ST

Pattern of Indian Forest Service Examination:

Preliminary examination of Indian Forest Service will be combined with Civil Services Preliminary examination
Paper I: General Studies - 200 Marks
Paper II:Aptitude test - 200 Marks
Total:400 Marks

Main Examination: The Indian Forest Service exam comprises of six papers; General English, General Knowledge and two optional subjects each comprising two papers. The Main written examination consisting of the following papers:-

Paper I General English 300 marks
Paper II General Knowledge 300 marks
Paper III Optional Subject 1 (Paper 1) 200 marks
Paper IV Optional Subject 1 (Paper 2) 200 marks
Paper V Optional Subject 2 (Paper 1) 200 marks
Paper VI Optional Subject 2 (Paper 2) 200 marks

Interview for Personality Test of such candidates as may be called by the Commission (Maximum marks: 300 marks)
