Hello, as you want information about the merchant navy. Firstly, for joining the merchant navy, you must be 12th passed.


Eligibility:-
12th with Physics, chemistry and maths as compulsory subjects with 50% and 50% in English subject.

Candidates who are appearing for IIT-JEE exam is also eligible for this exam.

Candidates who wants to join engineering or navigation fields in the merchant navy must be graduate in marine engineering or nautical science.

Medical requirements:-
Candidates should be physically and Mentally strong, fit for sea-services under standard norms


Eyes sight:-
The eye sight for a candidates is 6/6 without glasses
The candidates have no problem of color blindness.


The exam to join merchant navy is All India Merchant Navy Entrance Test (AIMNET). This exam is conducted for admission in following courses:-
BSc (Nautical Science)
B.Tech (Naval Architecture)
G.P. Ratings
Diploma of Applied Science (Deck Watch keeper by AMSA
BTech (Marine)
MBA (Shipping and Logistics Management

The examination fees for this exam is RS. 2500.
