The Polytechnic common entrance test (POLYCET) is conducted to offer admission into various polytechnic/diploma courses in the field of engineering & non-engineering in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is managed by the State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh. It is a state level examination. AP Polycet 2019 Exam Dates Online Application Release 7th March 2019 Last date for form submission 21st April 2019 Date of Exam 30th April 2019 Answer key release 6th May 2019 Result Declaration 9th May 2019 Counselling (Document Verification) Starts 24th May 2019 Choice Filling Starts 27th May 2019 2nd Counselling 11th & 12th June 2019 AP POLYCET Eligibility Nationality: One must be Indian citizens. Domicile: One must belong to Andhra Pradesh state. One must pass the qualifying exam from the schools of the state. Age: There is no age limit for appearing in exam. Qualification: One must have passed SSC exam/class 10 conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. One belonging to NIOS/CBSE/ICSE/ or equivalent exam recognized by A.P. government can also apply. One must pass all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with minimum 35% marks in each subject. One appearing is also eligible to apply. AP POLYCET Application Form Application forms can be filled and submitted in online mode only. Fill all the necessary details in the Form Submit it along with the application fee. AP POLYCET Application Fee The application fee is Rs. 330 which can be paid through online/mee seva/payment gateway/net banking/ and also Polytechnics help line centers. Upload the documents along with the application form. Save the application number for further use. AP POLYCET Admit Card The Admit card is available one week before the exam. AP POLYCET Result The Result can be checked by the candidates only by logging in the result portal using the hall ticket number. With minimum qualifying marks i.e. 36 mark out of 120, one will be allowed to appear for the AP POLYCET Web Counselling. These are in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Chittor, Kadapa, Nellore, Ananthpur, Kurnool, Prakasham, Krishna, Godavari, Guntur etc. AP POLYCET Exam Pattern The exam is conducted in offline mode. One has to mark the answers in OMR sheets. The questions are multiple choice types. There are 3 sections in the question paper. Questions are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Total number of questions is 120. Physics: 30 questions, Chemistry: 30 questions, Mathematics: 60 questions Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking. Exam duration is 2 hours.
