TS PGLCET or Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad for admission to LLM courses offered in more than 10 law colleges of the universities in Telangana state. Important dates of TS PGLCET 2019 Notification release March 10, 2019 Start of filling the application form March 15, 2019 Last date of filling the application form without late fees May 7, 2019 Last date of filling application form with late fees of Rs. 500 May 11, 2019 Last date of filling application form with late fees of Rs. 1000 May 13, 2019 Last date of filling application form with late fees of Rs. 2000 May 16, 2019 Correction of application form May 12, 2019 - 16, 2019 Admit card May 15, 2019 Entrance exam May 20, 2019 Provisional answer key May 23, 2019 Last date for claiming any objection May 25, 2019 Final answer key and result June 2, 2019 TS PGLCET Eligibility Educational Qualifications a) One holding LL.B. /B.L. degree on the date of application and one who has appeared/ appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year exam is also eligible. However, one should pass the exam at the time of counselling for admission. b) One seeking admission into LL.M. (Private Appearance) of Osmania University, Hyderabad shall have a minimum experience of 3-years as judicial officer or 3-years standing as an advocate on the date of appearing for TS PGLCET One appearing for LL.B. /B.L. degree final exam may take the TS PGLCET in anticipation of results. However, one should pass the exam at the time of counselling. Qualifying Marks for TS PGLCET The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% i.e., 30 marks out of 120 marks. There will be no qualifying marks for S.C & S.T candidates for ranking TS PGLCET Registration Process Step 1: Payment Step 2: Registration and Form Filling TS PGLCET Application Fee For SC/ST Candidates: INR 800 For General Candidates: INR 1000 TS PGLCET Results One will be ranked as per the total marks obtained in the Entrance Test. If there is a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part-A of Entrance Test (in Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law) will be considered for awarding the rank. If the tie still persists they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission. Rank obtained is valid for admission into LL.M. courses for the academic year only. Counselling for TS PGLCET One declared qualified in the online exam would be called for TS PGLCET Counselling. One will be called for counselling on the basis of merit list prepared. Procedures like- document verification and seat allotment would be carried out at the designated venues planned by TSCHE. One has to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.800/- (and Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST) at the time of certificate verification.
