Re: Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers Syllabus Exam Pattern

Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSC) conducts the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) in the state of Rajasthan. One who wish to teach in Classes 1-8 need to appear for Paper I or/ and Paper II of the REET followed by an Interview to qualify as Primary and Upper Primary Level Teachers.


Eligibility Criteria

One who possesses minimum one of the following qualification is eligible to apply for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test.


Minimum Educational Qualification for Paper I
Senior Secondary Education with minimum 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. EI.ED)


Minimum Educational Qualification for Paper II
Graduation with minimum 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
4 years B. ED (Special Education)
B.A/B. Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc. Ed/1 year B.Ed (Special Education)


Eligibility for Rajasthan TET Recruitment
Rajasthan TET Qualifying mark for General: 60% marks.
R TET Qualifying mark for ST /SC/ reserved category: 36% marks.


Diploma/ Degree in Teacher Education only from recognized National Council for Teacher Education (NCET) will be considered.
