Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test every year administered by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) for admission in the state polytechnic government/non-government colleges of Chhattisgarh. The admission will be offered to Engineering Diploma courses.


CG PPT Exam Dates 2019

Online application starts from 26th March 2019
Last date to submit application 14th April 2019
Availability of admit card 3rd May 2019
Exam Date 9th May 2019
Releasing of answer key 22nd May 2019
Last date to submit objections 25th May 2019
Declaration of result 1st June 2019
Counselling starts from 27th June 2019


CG PPT Eligibility
Domicile: One must have the domicile of Chhattisgarh to get admissions.
Qualifying Exam: One must have passed 10th Board examination from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks: One must qualify CG PPT with minimum of 35% marks.
Subjects: One must have mathematics and science as a compulsory subject.

Documents Required with Application Form:
Passport size photograph
10th standard mark sheet and passing certificate
Students need to upload all the mentioned documents in the instructed format and resolution as per CG PPT guidelines. No application form will be accepted System if the resolution is not at par.


CG PPT Admit Card
The Admit Card will available online probably in the month of April.
Admit card bears the details like roll number, exam date and time, and examination center etc.
Candidates can download the admit card by entering their registration ID or registration number/Date of birth.
Candidates should keep the admit card safe till the admission procedure is over.


CG PPT Result
The authority will announce the result online on its official website.
The final selection of candidates is done on the basis of their result.
Applicants can download/view their result by entering the roll number.
For offering admission to selected candidates in the various polytechnic institutions of the state, the officials will prepare a separate merit list.


CG PPT Counselling
Authority will organize CG PPT Counselling through online mode, which will be started from the last week of June. At counselling, one has to fill the choices for stream and institution in the choice filling process.

Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) will conduct the seat allotment procedure on the bases of choices filled by the candidates and availability of seats.

Selection is based on candidates score marks in the entrance exam.

One has to carry all original required documents for the verification process.

Examination Pattern
The entrance exam of CG PPT will be held in offline mode or Pen & Paper Based Exam.
The question paper of the exam consists of 150 questions of MCQ type.
The entrance exam will take 3 hours to complete.
The authority has not specified any penalty wrong answers.
The medium of the question paper will be Hindi as well as English.
