As you want to know the national defense academy (NDA) exam date sheet. So here I am providing you the important dates of NDA 1 exam which will be held in the year 2013.

Important Dates-:
The online applications for Part-I/II can be filled from 22nd December, 2012 to 21st January, 2013.
Last date for receipt of applications: - 21st January, 2013, Monday
Date of Examination: - 14th April, 2013, Sunday

This examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 14th April, 2013, Sunday for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force and Indian Naval Academy.

Vacancies-:
The approximate number of vacancies to be filled on the results of this examination will be 355 (195 for the Army, 39 for Navy, 66 for the Air Force and 55 for Indian Naval Academy

Academics eligibility-: 10+2 passed from a well recognized board of education ..

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts NDA & NA Exam two times in a year. UPSC recruits enthusiastic candidates for National Defense Academy and Naval Academy, after completing training they get commissioned in Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air Force.

The exams for National Defence Academy or NDA are conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission or UPSC. NDA 1 is conducted in the month of April and NDA 2 in September every year.

NDA Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality
2. Age: Only the Unmarried Male Candidates in age group of 16-1/2 to 19-1/2 can apply

Sex: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

3. Educational Qualifications:

(i)For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing int he 12th Class under 10+2 Pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

4. Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2014.
