JEE Main is the first stage of the JEE , the two tier examination for the engineering undergraduate admissions to the NITS and Centrally founded institutes. Eligibility Criteria : Applicants must have passed in final examination of class XII Applicants appearing in class XII final or equivalent examination in 2015 are eligible . Applicants must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII. Applicants passed Class XII in 2012 or before are not eligible to appear in JEE Main examination. Applicants date of birth should be on or after October 1, 1990 Applicants can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times. Selection Procedure: Selection depends on the basis of All India Ranks calculated with the JEE main 2Scores and normalized marks of Class XII in the ratio 60:40 Tentative Dates: Start of Online Application: Third week of November, 2014 Last date for Online Application: Last week of December, 2014 Date for Download of JEE Main 2015 Admit Card: Second week of March, 2015 onwards JEE Main 2015 Test Date (Offline) Paper 1 - First week of April, 2015 Paper 2 – First week of April, 2015 |
