Educational Qualifications:

PGTs ->Applicants must have obtained Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (OR)
Applicants must have obtained Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in required subjects.

TGTs -> Applicants must have obtained Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate. (OR) Applicants must have obtained A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject.

TGTs -> English - 88, Hindi - 65, Maths - 179, Science - 53, Social Studies - 38.
PGTs -> Biology - 41, Chemistry - 51, Commerce - 25, Economics - 76, English - 53, Geography - 33, Hindi - 51, History - 41, Maths - 81, Physics - 59.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti’s Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) & Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) 2015 exam dates is not release yet.

Last year the exam was held on 1 June 2014. So It expected that in 2015 the exam will held in June.

Here, I am giving you a procedure by which you can get the Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) & Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) notification with exam dates, kindly follow the procedure.

Visit at the official website of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
At the top right of the page, you will find the Recruitment tab move towards it. Now click on the Recruitment for PGT/TGT link.
In the next page, there will be a link for the Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) & Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) exam.
Click on the link.
Now you may have your exam notification.
In this notification, you can find the exam dates.




TGT Subjects for Exam

(i) TGT(English) English as an Elective Subject at Degree Level
(ii) TGT(Maths) Maths, Physics and Chemistry
(iii) TGT(Science) Botany, Zoology and Chemistry
(iv) TGT (Hindi) Hindi as an Elective Subject at Degree level
(v) TGT (Social Studies) History with Geography / Economics / Political Science or Geography with History / Economics / Political Science

PGT Subject for exam

(i) PGT(Hindi) Hindi
(ii) PGT(Physics) Physics/Applied Physics/Electronics Physics/ Nuclear Physics
(iii) PGT(Chemistry) Chemistry/Bio Chemistry
(iv) PGT(Mathematics) Mathematics/Applied Mathematics
(v) PGT(Economics) Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics
(vi) PGT(History) History
(vii) PGT(Geography) Geography
(viii) PGT(Commerce) Commerce with Accounting/Cost Accounting/ Financial Accounting as a major subject of study. Holders of Degree of M.Com. in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.

(x) PGT (Biology) Botony / Zoology / Life Sciences / Bio Sciences / Genetics / Micro Bilolgy / Bio Technology / Molecular Bio / Plant Physiology provided that applicant had studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
