Dates of UGC NET Exam

I want to apply for UGC NET Exam so please tell me the last date to apply and other important dates? Also give eligibility criteria?

Here I am giving you important dates of UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) Exam including last date to apply but all dates are tentative.

Important Tentative Dates:

Last date for applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee: May 05, 2014

Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI): May 07, 2014

Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card: May 10, 2014

Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating University opted by the candidate: May 15, 2014

UGC NET Eligibility:

55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc.

For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with disability category candidates at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination
