Nationality
One should be citizen of India
Chandigarh Quota: One belonging to Chandigarh
All India Quota: One belonging to other parts of India.


Educational Qualification
One must have passed 10+2
If one has passed 10+2 in the compartment, one will not be eligible for admission even if one clears the entrance exam.


Qualifying Subjects
Language, Physics and Mathematics and any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject and an additional subject in the qualifying examination


Qualifying Marks
One must have score minimum of 60% (55% must be scored by SC/ST/PH ) in qualifying examination


Qualifying Entrance exam
JEE Main ranks will be used to shortlist and allot seats.


Medical Health:
One must show good mental and physical health.

Counselling Procedure

There will be 4 rounds of online counselling, including 1 Spot Round.

All aspiring candidates, who are eligible, need to visit the JAC Chandigarh portal and register using their JEE (Main) details.

One needs to pay the registration fee through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet banking/ e-Challan.

One applying in reserved categories need to upload all concerned certificates.

A correction window will be opened for 2 days after the closing date of registration to modify/update the information provided at the time of registration.

One applying for various categories (except SC, ST and General) has to appear for documents verification before online counselling.

In the Spot round, all the registered candidates can participate regardless of whether had participated in previous rounds or not.

Spot round is also online counselling.

The only difference between Spot round and other three rounds of Counselling is that for participating in Spot round of Counselling, one needs to pay ₹40,000 as participation fee before the seat is allotted. If seat is allotted, participation fee will not be refunded. If seat is not allotted, participation fee will be fully refunded.
