How to Calculate CGPA in SRM University

What is the formula used to calculate SRM University cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score, give formula here & also give SRM University CGPA Calculator here, & bcoz I have passed 12th with Science stream with CGPA score now want to do B.Tech from SRM University???

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, or Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology, formerly SRM University, is a deemed university located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

SRM University Computation of (SGPA) and (CGPA)

(A) for finding SGPA Semester Grade Point Average, use following equation:

Where,

Ci = credit for the ith course,

(GP)i = the grade point obtained for the ith course,

n = total number of courses and the sum is over all the courses taken in that semester, including those in which the student has secured F grades.

(B) for finding CGPA Cumulative Grade Point Average, use following equation:

where,

Si = Sum of credits in ith semester,

(SGPA)i = Semester Grade Point Average earned in ith semester and

r = number of semesters and the sum is over all the semesters under consideration.

(C) The SGPA / CGPA shall be rounded off to second decimal points and reported in the transcripts

Procedures for Awarding Marks for Internal Assessment

THEORY COURSES

For regularity and Discipline - 10 Marks

For two assignment (Equal weightage) - 10 Marks

For two tests to be conducted (Equal weightage) - 20 Marks

Model examination - 10 Marks

Total - 50 Marks
