How to Calculate Sgpa under BPUT

I am a student of Biju Patnaik University of Technology(BPUT). Here marks are given in grades and we have to calculate the SGPA which is very difficult. Is there any android application for calculating SGPA under BPUT? If so please specify the name.

Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) follows a point system and grades its students in 10 points scale. SGPA is the individual GPA's of individual semesters and CGPA is the overall GPA of all the semesters.

SGPA for a semester can be calculated by multiplying the acquired grade point with The Credit of the subject and summing up this product for all the subject, then divide whole sum by total credits of the subjects

SGPA = Credit points X Grade points(Individually For All Subjects)

To calculate the C.G.P.A, Add up your SGPA for all semester then divide it by the no. of semesters for which CGPA is to be calculated.

Point: Each letter grade is assigned a number from 2 to 10

Credit: Each item of study is assigned a number based on their relative importance and number of contact hours

Credit Points: For each course item = a) X b)

Credit Index: Sum of Credit Point of all courses in the semester

Grade Point: Credit index/ ∑ Credit of item of course
