The Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy, known as
SASTRA University, is a deemed university in the town of
Thirumalaisamudram, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India.

It was founded in 1984



M.S. programme

Duration:

The M.S. programme shall comprise the following two parts, viz.

I – Prescribed course work, and

II – Project work

The normal duration of the programme shall be 4 semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed the final examination for the Bachelors degree
in Engineering, Technology with specialization in fields such as electrical,
electronics, instrumentation, communications, computer, IT from a
recognized University obtaining at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA shall
be eligible for admission to the programme, provided they have a valid GATE
score.



A student has to secure a minimum of 6 CGPA in the first semester to
continue to be eligible for the ECIL fellowship.
