Re: Mumbai University CGPA Conversion
Hello Vishnu the new Credit Based Grading System (CBGS) adopted by the University of Mumbai with effect from 2012-13 Here I am providing you an image Mumbai University CGPA Conversion According to this system a person getting 60 marks and another person getting 69 marks will get the same pointer where the difference in marks is 9. Whereas a person getting 69 marks will have a lower pointer than the person scoring 70 even if the difference in their marks is just 1. This leads to two things: 1Your CGPI does not correspond to marks obtained. 2) A person scoring fewer marks than you in total can have a pointer higher than you. University of Mumbai established in 1857, was earlier known as University of Bombay, is one of the oldest and premier universities in India. As a sequel to the change in the name of the city from Bombay to Mumbai, the name of the University has been changed from University of Bombay to University of Mumbai Facilities Library Class Rooms Hostels Computing Facility Sports Facility Faculties Faculty of Arts Faculty of Commerce Faculty of Science Faculty of Technology Faculty of Law Faculty of Fine Arts Address University of Mumbai CST Road, Kalina, Santacruz East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400098 Phone: 022 2654 3000 |
