CPF Recruitment Procedure
I have completed my PG degree and want to join CPF (Central Police Force) want to know the recruitment procedure. Will you please provide me complete CPF Recruitment Procedure so that I get to know test taken by CPF and also I can prepare accordingly?

Union Public Service Commission is the authorized organization for the recruitment of service vacancies in the departments under central government. Every year it conducts various examinations like Civil Services, Medical, Engineering, SCRA, ACs, CISF LDCE etc for the recruitment of vacancies. The selection process details are given below. CPF (Central Police Force) Selection Procedure consists of 3 stages. 1. Written examination 2. Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) & Medical Standards Tests 3. Interview 1. Written Examination: There are two papers in the UPSC CPF Written Exam. Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks Paper I consists of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type questions and questions will be set in English as well as Hindi. There is negative mark will be cut for each wrong answer. Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension – 200 Marks In this paper candidates will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/ language skills will be in English. 2 Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Male: 100 Meters race in 16 seconds 800 Meters race in 3 mins 45 Seconds Long Jump 305 Meters(3 chance) Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) 405 Meters Female: In 18 seconds 800 Meters race in 4 mins 45 seconds Long Jump:3.0 Meters(3 chance) Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) 405 Meters 3 Interview/Personality Test: Those who will qualify the Medical Standards Test will be eligible for the interview and will be called by the Commission for final round i.e. Interview or Personality Test. This test will carry 150 Marks. Merit List/ Final Selection: Final Selection of the candidates is totally based on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Written Examination and in Interview. All the best!!! |
