Rajasthan Police, Government of Rajasthan recruit candidates on Constable Post directly through local board/ RPSC.
Constable (General)
Educational Qualification: Xth
Constable (RAC)
Educational Qualification: VIIIth
Physical Standards:
Chest - 81 cm minimum (expansion min 5 cm)
Height - 168 cm
Age - 18 yrs to 23 yrs

Method of Selection:
1. Written Test (PHQ)
2. Physical and Medical Examination
3. Physical efficiency Test
Required Physical standards:
Height Chest: 170 Cms
Weight: 80-85 Cms

Medical Standards:
Eye Sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 & 6/9 of both eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high color vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Detailed Method of Selection:
The selection procedure for the post of constable (GD) completes in seven steps.
Preliminary screening / physical measurement
Document checking

Physical efficiency test (PET):
- 1 mile Run, high Jump, long Jump.
Written test (Literacy and Intelligence test):

Friend For your help ,I am Sharing Andhra Pradesh Police Constable Exam Selection Process Details :

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be Selected Based on their Performance in Preliminary Selection Test,
Physical Efficiency Test
Written Examination

Preliminary Selection Test:

Candidates have to run for 2.5 Kms within 16 minutes for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Civil, AR) (Women) in Police Department and run for Five (5) kms with in 25 minutes for remaining all posts.

Physical Efficiency Test:

Candidates who Qualify in the preliminary selection test and who possess the minimum physical standards will required to under go the 100 meters Run, Long jump, Short Put (7.26 Kgs/ 4 kgs), High jump, 800 metres run in the specified duration of time/ distance according to the desires post

Written Examination:

The minimum marks to be Secured by a Candidates in Order to qualify in the written examination is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs /STs and Ex. Servicemen.
