Re: Recruitment Procedure of RAW

The Research and Analysis Wing is the primary foreign intelligence agency of India

Well there is no direct process for applying to the raw

Persons are recruited in RAW are from the civil services
and armed force in most of the cases. You cannot apply to a position in RAW directly

RAW agents can also be selected directly from their universities.

you have to sit for a National Aptitude Test in Intelligence followed by personality and psychological test as well as interviews if you got selected for the job.

You will not be have a permanent job like other government job when required you have torsign

There is a 10-day introduction that takes place in Delhi.

You will learn the basic terms for intelligence, classified intelligence and other basics regarding the job upon completing basic training, you will be sent to a Field Intelligence Bureau.

You will be here between 1 to 2 years.

After successfully completed training, you will be getting the missions.

Some other Indian intelligence agencies than Research and Analysis Wing(RAW)

Intelligence Bureau

Narcotics Control Bureau

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence

Defence Intelligence Agency

Joint Cipher Bureau

Signals Intelligence Directorate

Directorate of Air Intelligence

Directorate of Navy Intelligence

Directorate of Income Tax (Intelligence and Criminal Investigation)
