I want to join Criminal Investigation Department officer, give here the eligibility criteria required???

C.I.D stands for Criminal Investigation Department.
The exam is conducted by SSC and candidates are selected on the basis of CGL exam that happens in the month of APRIL and notification comes in the month of February.

Eligibility
The applicant must have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognized college or university and Final year students can also apply for the exam.

There is no percentage bar you got in graduation.

Age Limit:
For General Category: 20 years to 27 year
OBC Category: 20 years to 30 years
SC/ST category:20 years to 32 years.

Selection procedure:
Selection is based on following stages:

1.Written test
2.Physical TEST
3.Personal interview

Exam Pattern:-
Tier 1 Duration 2 Hours
General Intelligence+Reasoning 50 Marks
General Awareness 50 Marks
Numerical Aptitute 50 Marks
English Comprehension 50 Marks
TOTAL 200 Marks

TIER 2 Duration 4 Hours Marks
Arithmetical abilities
(100 question, 2 hours)
200 Marks
English Language and Comprehension
(200 question,2 hours)
