As you want I am here telling you about the eligibility criteria for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam for getting admission in admission to UG/PG program of LAW.


Eligibility criteria:

For Under-Graduate Programmes


Candidate should pass 10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 45% marks for General and 40% marks for SC/ST and Persons with Disability.

Applicants appearing in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for the Test.


Age:

below 20 years of age in case of General Candidates
below 22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with disability


for Post-graduate Programme

Applicant should have passed the LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate
(50% in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability).


Applicants appearing in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for the Test.

Tentative dates are Publication of advertisement
1st week of January

Issue of application forms
2nd week of January

Last date for submission of application forms
1st week of April

Issue of Hall Tickets
2nd week of April

Date of admission test for UG/PG
2nd week of May

Publication of result
Last week of May

Completion of admission process
Last week of June

Commencement of classes
1st week of July
