Common Law Admission Test is organised on National level and it is an entrance exam for applicants who want to pursue 5 years integrated law course and PG Course in 14 best law institutes of India.

Eligibility Criteria:
UG Course
Aspirants should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognised Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST aspirants ).

Aspirants should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2015 (22 years in case of SC and ST Aspirants).

Eligibility to PG Course
Aspirants should have obtained a LL. B/B. L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC and ST Aspirants).

Aspirants who are appearing in the final year are also eligible .

Exam Pattern
It is multiple-choice based entrance exam comprises of 200 questions of 1 marks each with negative marking of 1/4 marks for wrong answers.

Pattern of the CLAT Exam (For UG Course)

Pattern of the CLAT Exam (For PG Course)
Paper Marks Duration
Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions.100 Marks

CLAT is the The Common Law Admission Test conducted by NLUs for admission to their undergraduate and post graduate programmes, i.e., BA LL.B & LL.M.

Eligibility criteria:
Students should be complete graduation in any stream from recognized university

Students should be score min 55% of marks in graduation relaxation is applicable for sc/st Students

The admission for LLB course on the basis on merit list.

Students age should not than 20 years and relaxation is applicable for sc/st and obc Students

Syllabus FOR CLAT examination:
Legal Aptitude
General Knowledge
Current Affairs
Elementary Mathematics
General English
Logical Reasoning

Duration of the examination – 2 hours

Total number of MCQs – 200

0.25 marks will be deducted for each of the wrong answers.
