I would like to tell you about the Educational Qualification of Indian Forest Service exam as you want. Here I am telling you about it as you want; Educational Qualification: The applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely ; Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification. Eligibility Criteria; Age Limit 21 to 30 years Qualification Graduation in Relevant Subjects Physical Standards As per Norms Number of Attempts 6 (Gen), 9 (OBC), Unlimited (SC) Structure Preliminary & Main Exam Preliminary Exam 2 Papers (200 marks each) Main Exam 6 Papers (Total 1400 marks) Interview 300 Marks List of optional subjects (Subject to provisions below): Agriculture Agricultural Engineering Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science Forestry Geology Mathematics Mechanical Engineering Botany Chemistry Chemical Engineering Civil Engineering Physics Statistics Zoology Provided that the applicants will not be allowed to offer the following combination of subjects: Agricultural and Agricultural Engineering Agricultural and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science Chemistry and Chemical Engg.
