Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had given a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, General Duty Medical Officer & Other vacancies through Combined Medical Services Examination 2019.


Important Dates 2019
Starting Date to Apply Online: 10-04-2019
Closing Date to Apply Online: 06-05-2019 till 6.00 P.M
The online Applications can be withdrawn from: 13-05-2019 to 20-05-2019 till 6.00 PM
Last Date for Payment of Fee (“Pay by cash” mode): 05-05-2019 23.59 hrs
Last Date for Fee Payment (Online Mode): 06-05-2019′
Date for Examination: 21-07-2019
Declaration of Result: September/October, 2019
Date for DAF: From 26-08-2019 to 09-09-2019
Dates for Interview: 30-10-2019 to 12-12-2019

Eligibility

Educational Qualification:-


a) An MBBS degree from an MCI recognized university in India.

b) One appearing for final year MBBS exam is also eligible to apply.

c) Qualified candidates of the written test need to submit proof of passing the written and practical test of final MBBS exam along with their application form.

d) One yet to complete compulsory rotating internship is eligible for admission however one will be appointed only after completing internship.


Nationality

a) One from India/Bhutan and Nepal can apply for the exam.

b) Refugees from Tibet who have settled in the country before 01.01.1962.

c) One of India origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Sri lanka, Burma and East African counties consisting of Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Zaire with intention of settling down in India.


Age Limit:
The age limit is 32 years as on January, 01 of the year of admission.


Application Fee
Candidates should pay Rs. 200/-
For Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates: NIL
Pay the fee through Online/ offline.


Scheme of Examination:

One will take the Computer based exam in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each Paper will be of two hours duration.

Paper-I – General Medicine and Paediatrics
Paper-II – Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Preventive & Social Medicine
Both the Papers of the CMSE will be of MBBS standard.
