UP TET Entrance Exam Age Criteria

Please tell me what is the age criteria for appearing in UP TET Entrance Exam ?

As I have information , as per the teacher service rulebook the maximum age for the UP TET Entrance Exam is 35 years.

Eligibility for primary teacher (Class I-V)

Applicant should have graduation degree with aggregate score of 50% or more and have 2 year diploma in special education (D.Ed).

OR

Applicant should have Graduation degree and 2 years course in BTC/CT (Nur)/ NTT, must be approved by NCTE.

OR
Applicant should have A Graduation degree and BTC training from UP, should be approved by NCTE.

OR

If any Applicant have done their graduation Moallim – e – Urdu before 11-8-97 then they are eligible to take this test if they are applying for the place of an Urdu teacher.

OR

Applicants who also have a 4 year diploma in elementary education will also be considered eligible for appearing for the UPTET.


Eligibility for upper primary (Classes VI-VIII)

Applicant should have graduation degree with an aggregate score of 50% or more and also hold a 1 year degree in elementary education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Candidate should have a Graduation degree and 2 years course in BTC/CT (Nur)/ NTT, should be approved by NCTE.

OR
Candidate should have a Graduation degree and BTC training from UP, must be approved by NCTE.

Candidate having professional degree are not eligible for this exam.
