Here I am providing the information regarding the Age Eligibility required for the UGC NET Exam which you are looking for . i) Junior Research Fellowship : Not more than 28 years as on 1st June of the year of admission. A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ VH categories and to women students. Three years’ relaxation in age will be permissible to the students possessing L.L.M. Degree. Relaxation will also be provided to the students having research experience, limited to the period spent on research in the relevant/related subject of post-graduation degree, subject to a maximum of 5 years, on production of a certificate from appropriate authority. Total age relaxation on the above ground(s) shall not exceed five years under any circumstances. UGC NET Exam Procedure Applicants who want to appear in UGC NET examination, which are going to held in December 2014, they may apply online through UGC NET Official portal for UGC Net examination. Applicants are new, first time appearing in this examination, Applicants need to register their self on UGC NET website and then apply for the UGC NET Exam December 2014 according to the directions given there. Important Dates UGC NET Application Form December 2014 Notification CBSE NET Application form will be available from 15th October 2014 Last Date to Apply for CBSE NET exam December 2014 15th November 2014. UGC NET Exam Fee CategoryAmount of Fee General applicants Rs.450 Other Backward Classes applicants Rs.225 SC/ST/PH/VH applicantsRs.110 Mode of payment The applicants is to fill the Bank Challan Form in triplicate (Bank Copy, UGC Copy & Candidate’s Copy) as given in the Notification. All the three copies of the Challan Form have to be submitted in any branch of State Bank of India along with the bank charges of Rs.20. The bank will retain its copy and return the other two copies of the challan to the applicants The candidate has to attach the UGC copy of the challan with the printout of online Application Form which he/she has to submit to the Registrar of UGC-NET Centre opted by the candidate. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
