CAT Exam Age Eligibility

CAT is conducted every year by the Indian Institute of Management to admit candidates in different management courses of two years duration in all the 7 IIMs and some other top management institutes in the country.

Eligibility Criteria:
There is no age limit in CAT exam .
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
In case of the SC and ST Applicants, a minimum of 45% mark is sufficient.

CAT Exam Pattern
CAT will have only two sections.
The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
The second on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning
The examination will be for 140 minutes.
Applicants will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions
A 15-minute tutorial will be provided before the start of the test.
The total duration will be two hours and 35 minutes including the tutorial.

CAT Exam Dates
CAT is normally held from mid of October to Novermber.
