As you want I am here giving you the eligibility criteria for applying to the Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) exam. Eligibility criteria: Age Limit : 21 years -35 years Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST and category Relaxation 3 years for Other backward category candidates. Relaxation 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates. Relaxation in age is also given to the candidate who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union. Attempts : Unlimited number of attempts : SC/ST candidate . 7 attempts : for Other backward caste. 5 attempts : for General merit candidates. Qualification: Applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. Candidate who appear in the final exam of the degree qualification may also appear. KAS exam pattern : Preliminary Examination Main Examination |

Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) conducts the entrance exam for the Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS). Eligibility Criteria: Education: Applicant need to pass bachelors degree or master degree or equivalent degree form recognized university. Age Criteria: Age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 35 years. While age relaxations given to reserved categories students as follows: 5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates 3 years for Other backward category candidates. 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates. No of Attempts: For general: 5 For OBC: 7 For SC/ST: un limited Selection procedure: Selection of the candidate depends on followings: KAS Prelim Exam KAS Mains Exam Interview Prelim Exam Pattern: Paper – I General Studies 150 Marks Paper – II One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects. 300 Marks Total 450 marks Mains Exam Pattern: Paper - I Kannada 150 marks Paper - II English 150 marks Paper – III & IV General studies 300 marks for each paper Paper – V, VI, VII & VIII Two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects. Each subject will have two papers 300 marks for each paper TOTAL 1800 marks List of options subjects for the mains exam. Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing. Co-operation and Sericulture.
