SSC Is Equivalent To 10th Or 12th

I have completed my 10th and want to know that am I eligible for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination. Also tell me details about the SSC exams can you please tell me is SSC exams is Equivalent compared to the 10th Or 12th standard?

Hello dear, SSC is stand for Secondary School Certificate which is equivalent to 10th class. The Secondary School Certificate Examination is a public examination in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan conducted as completion exam of secondary education.

Students of 10th grade/class ten can appear in these examinations. It is an equivalent to GCSE in England and also equivalent to first two years of High Schools in the USA.

HSC is equivalent to 3rd and 4th year of High School in the USA, which means they can start college with HSC certification in the USA.

The 10th class exam is conducted at the state level by the state boards of education and at the National level by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

Schedule:
In India, 10th board exam is usually conducted in the months of March and April by most of the boards of education in India.
An exam schedule is released by the boards at least one month before the exam.
Class 10 board exam results are usually declared in the month of May/June.
