Yes you can apply for IIT JEE examination after having gaps Between 10th and 12th grade .There is only important that year gap after 12th .

The JEE mains eligibility details as following:

Eligibility:
You have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2014.

Number of Attempts:
The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE Main shall be limited to 03.

Cause of some issues, I have 3 year gap in class 10th to class 10th. So I want to ask you that am I eligible to write the IIT JEE or not?

Yes you can apply for IIT joint Entrance exam. But you should not have maximum two years gap after class 12th. Here, I am giving you IIT JEE 2015 eligibility criteria. So it will be clear to you.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education Qualification:


Applicants must have passed Class 12th examination or other qualifying examination in the year 2013 or 2014.

OR
Applicants who are appearing for their Class 12th examination in 2015 are eligible
Applicants need to have English, physics, chemistry, Mathematics/biology as a main subject in class 12th.

Age Qualifications:

Applicants must be born on or after October 1, 1990 to be considered for the JEE Main 2015.
SC/ST/PwD Applicants will have a relaxation of the upper age limit by 5 years.
SC/ST/PwD Applicants must be born on or after October 1, 1985.

Number of Allowed attempts:

A maximum number of 3 attempts allowed qualifying the IIT JEE exam.

So if you meet the eligibility criteria you are eligible to apply for IIT JEE exam.

How to apply: Applicants need to apply online at official website of the CBSE for IIT JEE exam.
