Re: Which is better for Engineering 10th or 12th?
As you asking for Engineering after 10th or 12th which is a better option, so according to me both are good option. It’s better to go for degree after doing 12th as the fundamental for engineering is can be learnt in 11th and 12th standard. For joining degree colleges you have to appear for following entrance exams: AIEEE, OJEE, IITJEE, After completing 12th one can pursue either Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology courses in engineering. Different types of branches are available in both courses which are given below. Aeronautical Engineering Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Agricultural and Irrigation Engineering Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Instrumentation Engineering Computer Science and Engineering Chemical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Agricultural Engineering Automobile Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Marine Engineering Metallurgical Engineering Ceramic Engineering Mining Engineering Bio Medical Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Genetic Engineering Production Engineering Petrochemical Engineering Polymer Engineering Textile Engineering Instrumentation and Control Engineering Material Science and Engineering Here is the list of top Engg colleges in India: Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences(BITS, Pilani) Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT, BHU) Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT) Delhi Technological University Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee |
