Som-Lalit Institute of Management studies started its PGDM (F.T.) and (P.T.) programme in the year 1996 and M.B.A (F.T.) programme in the year 1998 under the umbrella of Som-Lalit Education and Research Foundation.
The PGDM programme is an autonomous course approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MBA programme is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University approved by AICTE.
