I have a list which contains list of Universities approved from UGC. I didn’t get name of Lalit Narayan Mithila University in that list. I am doing final year of BA program from this University. So I want to know that is this list correct or Fake? How can I get official list of UGC approved Universities? Give contact numbers of Lalit Narayan Mithila University to get information about its approval.

Yes, Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) is recognised by University Grants Commission (India).

The Lalit Narayan Mithila University with its headquarters at Darbhanga was established by an ordinance in 1972 carving out colleges of Darbhanga and Kosi Divisions, from the then two Universities namely Bihar University, Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur respectively.

It aspires to be an energetic and responsive University offering educational opportunities for learner community especially to the lower socio-economic strata of the society seeking quality undergraduate, post graduate, research and continuing personal or professional enrichment in higher education serving India by advancing, sharing and applying knowledge and by facilitating the development of thoughtful, creative, adaptable, contributing human citizens.
