SET is the abbreviated form of the State Eligibility Test .It is a state level test since it’s organized in different states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, etc.

Tentative Dates:
SET is scheduled to conduct on 1st week of December, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria
There is no upper age limit.
Applicants must have Master's Degree or P.G. Diploma from an institution recognized by U.G.C who have secured atleast 55% mark
Applicants who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Master”s degree (final year) examination are also eligible .
Such Applicants must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of SET result

Paper Pattern
There will be three papers i.e. Paper I, Paper II and Paper III.
In Paper I, there will be 60 multiple choice questions of which applicants have to answer any 50 questions. The questions will be of areas like reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness.
Paper II will have 50 multiple choice based questions based on the subject selected by the applicant .
Paper III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the applicant Each question will carry two marks.

Last Date for Online Application: last week of October

Eligibility
Age Limit of students must be between 18 - 34 yrs.
Students must possess the qualification of PG in relevant subject with minimum of 55% marks, form any recognized university.
