SET exam after graduation

Hi can I select Commerce Subject in Maharashtra SET exam after passing B.Sc with Zoology Hons.?

Sorry to say but you are not eligible for Maharashtra SET exam after B.Sc as the mini eligibility for this exam is post graduation.

University of Pune as a State Agency will conduct Maharashtra SET for the State of Maharashtra and Goa to determine eligibility for Lectureship.

Maharashtra SET Eligibility Criteria

Master's Degree recognized by U.G.C. Candidates having Post Graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute or Foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the Foreign University/Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master's degree of recognized Indian Universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi

SC/ST category, who have secured at least 55% marks in Master's or equivalent examination, are eligible for this test. SC/ST/PH/VH (PH-Physically Handicapped.
VH-Visually Handicapped
i.e. Blind) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Master's or equivalent examination are eligible for this test.

Final year student of Master degree can also apply.

Candidates can appear for SET in the subject of their Post Graduation only.

To apply for the SET there is no upper age limit.

Pattern and Syllabus of Examination:

There will be 3 papers in the entrance.
Paper 1 will have objective questions from Teaching and Research Aptitude. Paper 2 will have objective questions from the Post Graduation subject. Paper 3 will have short and long questions from the Post Graduation subject.

Paper 1 & 2 will be of 75 minutes each and will have 50 questions of 100 marks each. Paper 3 will be of 200 marks and 2 and a half hours duration. Paper 3 will be evaluated only for those who qualify in Paper 1 & 2.
