The School of Food Science and Technology at Jiangnan University was established in 1952, and it is located in Wuxi School of Food Science & Technology offers three undergraduate programs, including (1) Food Science & Technology, (2) Food Safety & Quality Control, and (3) Animal Science School of Food Science & Technology offers graduate education program and launched a Doctoral program School of Food Science & Technology is having total number of over 100 faculties, 600 graduate students and1400 undergraduate students. In 2007, Food Science and Technology course was certified as the National Key Research In 2007, Educational program by the Ministry of Education of China . In 2009 program was ranked nationally as No.1 by the Ministry of Education of China.
