RTO exam eligibility

Hi I have completed diploma in Automobile branch so can I eligible to apply for RTO exam?

Sorry to say but you are not eligible for RTO exam after diploma in Automobile branch.
Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Exam is conducted by Public Service Commission.

The RTO exam conduct for three posts -

1.Judicial service post,
2.clerkship post,
3.sub assistant engineer

Eligibility criteria-

For Judicial Service post -

Degree in law from recognized university
Candidate should be between 23 year to 34 years.
Candidate should be Indian citizen

For Clerkship Post:

Candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board .
Candidate should be between 18 years to 37 year old.
Candidate should be a citizen of India.

For Sub Assistant Engineer::

The interested students should have got a 4 year degree in engineering in any streams Civil,Mechanical,Electrical.
Age not more then 32 years .
Candidate should be a citizen of India.

Tentative date-

Last date to apply - 20-03-2014 .

RTO Exam pattern –

Total number of questions - 100
Total Marks- 100
Questions will be appear from the following subjects ::

Subject question and mark
General Knowledge - 40 Que / 40 Marks
General Hindi - 20 Que / 20 Marks
Maths - 40 Que / 40 Marks

Here are Regional Transport Office (RTO) Mumbai Regional Transport Office (RTO) exam details;

Qualification Required
Applicants should have diploma in Automobile / Mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Selection Procedure
Applicants will be selected through a Written Test, followed by an Interview.

Salary Structure:
Selected job seekers will be given pay scale of Rs 14800 – 34000/-.
