Procedure to Join CBI other than UPSC Exam

Apart from UPSC Exam, you can appear and pass the Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to join CBI as sub inspector (SI)

Eligibility for SI in CBI Posts --

Age limit
Your age must be in between 20 Years to 25 Years.

Education:
Must possess Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University.

Recruitment Process:

The recruitment is conducted in three rounds --
Tier I written exam
Tier II written exams
Computer Proficiency Test/Interview/Skill Test

Tier I Exam Pattern:

It will consist of objective type multiple choice questions based on –

General Intelligence (for 50 marks),
Reasoning (for 50 marks),
General Awareness (for 50 marks)
Quantitative Aptitude (for 50 marks) and
English Comprehension (for 50 marks)

I want to join CBI so please give me the procedure how can I join this other than appearing in UPSC Exam?

CBI stands for Central bureau of Investigation

You can also join CBI by appearing in Combined Graduate Level examination conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission).

Age limit:
Candidates must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years
