CAT Result Announcement 14 January 2014

Online Submission of Application Form begins on 15 January 2014

Last Date for receipt of Print copy of Application Form
alongwith Demand Draft 31 January 2014

Group Discussion & Personal Interview (will be held at IIT Delhi) 03-06 April 2014 (Thursday to Sunday)

Declaration of Admission Results 5 May 2014

For admission you need to crack CAT so here I am providing you the detail of CAT.

Eligibility
The Applicant must be a graduate with 50% marks or equal CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST/DA/PWD) or possess an equal qualification accepted by the ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Pattern of CAT

Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
30 Questions 1 hr. 10 mins (70 mins)

Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning
30 Question 1 hr. 10 mins (70 mins)

Syllabus
CAT English/Verbal Ability: Reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, syllogisms, analogies, antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks, sentence correction, idioms, etc.

CAT Maths/Quant Ability: Number systems, geometry, trogonometry, probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc.

CAT Data Interpretation: Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram, etc.

CAT Logical Reasoning: Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc.

Eligibility

For GN and OBC Applicants:

Overall CAT-2014 score of 85 percentile and above.

65% and above in Class X and Class XII examinations.

B. Tech., B. Sc. Engineering, B.E. or B. Arch. (Mathematics in Class XII) with aggregate of 65% or a CPI of 6.5 on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognized institute/university, IITs, NITs, and IIITs.


For SC and ST Applicants:

Overall CAT-2014 score of 75 percentile and above.

55% and above in Class X and Class XII examinations.

B. Tech., B. Sc. Engineering, B.E. or B. Arch. (Mathematics in Class XII) with aggregate of 55% or a CPI of 5.5 on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognized institute/university, IITs, NITs, and IIITs.
