Procedure to Join CBI

I am a B.Com commerce student . What is the the procedure to join CBI?

The basic eligibility to join CBI is a graduation in any discipline.

To join CBI candidates have to appear in the exam which is held at all India level called SSC Combined Graduate Level exams.

SSC administers Combined Graduate Level Examination for several other posts in Central Bureau of Investigation.

Candidates Should be citizen of India
Age Should be between 21-30 years for general applicants and 5 years Age Relaxation for Sc/St applicants and 3 years for OBC applicants
Should have Completed graduation from Recognized university
Should have 60% marks in Graduation

The exam tests the ability of the Candidates through preliminary and main examinations.

Preliminary examination will have questions under following categories:

• English Comprehension

• General Awareness

• General Intelligence and reasoning ability

• Numerical Aptitude

Candidates getting through the main examination will be invited for attending the interview.
