Management Aptitude Test is a standardised test to facilitate Top B-Schools of the country to screen students for providing admission to their MBA and allied programmes. Eligibility Candidates must have done graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent. A final year Candidate in any undergraduate course (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, B. Tech, etc) can also appear provisionally. Syllabus The main contents of the MAT exam are: Mathematical Skills. Language Comprehension Data Analysis and Sufficiency. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. Indian and Global Environment. Important Dates Last date for the sale of application form: November 22, 2014. Last date for online registration: November 22, 2014 Last date for the submission of filled in registration form: November 25, 2014 Paper based MAT 2014 test: December 07, 2014 Computer based MAT 2014 test: December 13, 2014 |

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted for the admission to various B-schools in India. It is a standardized test which is approved by the government of India to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Registration and examination of MAT 2015 session will be held 4 times in year. Eligibility The candidate must have completed graduation or appearing in the final year. The candidates must score minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in qualifying exam with English as a subject. The MAT score will be valid for the admission to various B schools. The candidate must check percentage requirement and MAT score for admission to various institute and colleges. MAT Exam Dates May 2015 Last Date For sale of Forms and Last Date For Online Registration: 18 April 2015 MAT May 2015 Paper Pencil Test MAT May 2015 Exam Date: 03rd May, 2015 (Sunday) MAT Exam Timings: 10.00 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. MAT May 2015 Computer Based Test MAT May 2015 Exam Date: From 9th MAY, 2015 ( Friday ) MAT Exam Pattern The paper will of objective type, with 4 options the candidates have to choose a single correct option. The exam will consists of 200 questions, each question will carry one marks each. The total time of exam will be 150 min. The questions will be asked from following areas: Mathematical Ability: 40 Intelligence and Logical Reasoning: 40 Language Comprehension: 40 Data analysis and data sufficiency: 40 India and Global Environment: 40 Candidates must note that there is a provision of negative marking; therefore for every wrong answer 1/4th marks for each question will be deducted. However no marks will be deducted for the questions that are not attempted by the candidates. |
