Iit kharagpur branch change

I am a student of IIT Kharagpur and I am a first year student. Due to some unspecified reason I want to change my branch. So kindly provide me with the procedures for doing that:

I would like to tell you that The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a public engineering institution established by the government of India in 1951.

So here in response of your question I am enlisting the various procedures for changing branch:

1. After admission you can initially change branch Under Branch Migration Scheme.

2. If not than you can do it after one year you get hired in your specialization.

3. You will have to fill a form of “Branch Migration” or “Under sliding” after completing your one year.

4. Mention the reasons why you want to change your branch.

5. Submit that form to the registrar in the admission department

6. Make sure you have no backs in any of the first two semesters.
