EURIAS Fellowship Programmes aim is creating international and multidisciplinary learning communities. It is of following two types:

- Junior fellows:
Researchers having by the time of the application a PhD plus 2 years of full-time research experience.

- Senior fellows:
Researchers having by the time of the application a PhD plus minimum 9 years of full-time research experience.

Selection procedure:
The IAS follows a two-stage selection process:
A central selection process of eligible candidates at the Consortium level, followed by a decentralized final decision by IAS.
