IIT JAM Selection Procedure

I am interested in the field of Biotechnology and for ths I have decided to give the IIT Joint Admission Test (JAM) for doing M.Sc Biotechnology. Will you tell me what the Selection Procedure for IIT JAM Exam and also provide me list of IIT’S where I can take admission?

Joint Admission Test (JAM) is an all India admission test conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore to get admission into M.Sc program, joint PhD dual degree, and other post B.Sc program at various IITs.

Exam detail:

Exam held in the month of: February usually

Mode of applying for JAM: Online

Age criteria: No age restriction

Exam pattern: Both objective and descriptive

Selection Procedure

Only the candidates who qualify in JAM 2016 (whose names appear in the Merit List) shall be eligible to apply for admission to any of the corresponding academic programmes available at different IITs
