Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, and Centre for International Co-operation in Science (CICS) was established in May 2005 under the patronage of Dr.Krishan Lal, FNA, President, Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi and Dr. T. Ramasami, FNA, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology (DST). This Fellowship Program provides an opportunity for young scientists, teachers and researchers from the developing countries to undertake research studies in India. Eligibility: Candidates (other than Indian) possessing Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Science or equivalent degree in Engineering/ Medicine and allied disciplines they are eligible Age limit: below 45 years JNCASR-CICS Fellowship Programme |
