HPBose conducts the Common Entrance Test for admission to Two Years Junior Basic Training Course”

JBT shall be conducted by the Boardfor filling up of 2875 seats in 12 DIETs and 20 Privately Managed JBT Affiliated Institutions.

The JBT course is only an academic course.

Important Dates
The Prospectus containing ICR Application Form shall be available till 10th March, 2014

The last date for receipt of application forms in the Board’s office in respect to the applicants belonging to non-tribal areas shall be 24th March, 2014 and for applicants belonging to tribal areas it shall be 31st March, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have Senior Secondary School Certificate or Intermediate or 10+2 or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks.

Applicants appearing in forthcoming annual qualifying examination may also apply

The relaxation of 5% marks in minimum educational qualification is available to SC/ST/OBC/PHH Applicants

Age Limit for JBT

The age limit for JBT shall be 17-28 years as on 30.04.2014 for all Applicants

Relaxation in upper age limit shall be available as per the rules of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
