IAS exam is popularly known as Indian Administrative Service exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Important Dates:
Date of Notification:- 16.05.2015

Last date for receipt of applications:- 12.06.2015

Date of commencement of Examination:- 23.08.2015

Duration of the Exam:- 1 DAY

Civil Services (Main) Exam 2015:-

Date of commencement of Examination:- 18.12.2015

Duration of the Exam:- 5 DAYS

Eligibility

a) Graduation in any stream from a recognized university in India
b) Applicants with professional and technical qualifications recognized by the Government of India as equivalent to professional and technical degrees are eligible to apply. Applicants appearing for their final year degree exam are also eligible to apply for IAS 2015.
c)
d) Applicants who have passed final year of MBBS exam but are yet to complete internship can apply for the prelim exam.

5. Economic and social development
6. General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change
7. General Science

Number of Questions : 80
Total Time : 120 minutes (02 hours)

Eligibility:-

Applicants must hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized University .

Applicants appearing for their final year degree exam are also eligible to apply

Age Limit:- Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.

Age Relaxation:-

(i) 5 years if a Applicant belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

(ii) 3 years in the case of Applicants belonging to OBC who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such Applicants
