As you are looking for the eligibility for the Food Inspector exam so, here I am providing you that… Eligibility: 1. Candidates should graduate from a recognized University or its equivalent. 2. Candidates should have passed Punjabi Language subject up to Metric standard. 3. Candidates Graduates in medicine with one year training in food inspection. 4. Candidates should have there bachelors degree in science stream with chemistry as a compulsory. 5. Candidates should have there Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Public Health/ Veterinary Science/Dairy Technology/Pharmacy / Food Technology. Candidates possessing any degree equivalent to those given above are also eligible to apply. Age Limit : General: 18 to 38 years SC/BC: 18 to 43 years Widows, Divorcees and certain other categories of women: 18 to 42 years Applicants who are already in Government Service: 18 to 45 years Physically Handicapped: 18 to 48 years Selection process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in written test and interview. |

Hello buddy this the reply of your query here we provide you information related to essential requirement for appear in food inspector exam as follows PSC All India Food Inspector Exam Union Public Service Commission directs All India Food Inspector Exam for recruitment of food inspectors in various officies around the country. Educational qualification: Candidate possessing any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply for UPSC All India Food Inspector Exam - Graduates in medicine with one year training in food inspection. - Bachelors degree in science stream with chemistry as a compulsory. -Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Public Health Veterinary Science/Dairy Technology Pharmacy Food Technology Procedure of Selection:- Candidates will be selected based on performance in written test and interview. Pattern of exam:- The test pattern comprises of questions on technical side, which includes science subjects. It also consists of numerical ability and GK questions. There will also be an English language test. The duration of the exam will be 150 minutes. negative marking for incorrect answers.
