Eligibility and syllabus for the Food Inspector post?

I have completed my Graduation in Chemistry I want to apply for the Food Inspector post? Please tell me what is the eligibility required for this exam? Also provide me its syllabus?

Union Public Service Commission conducts All India Food Inspector Exam for the recruitment of food inspectors in various offices all over the country. You are asking for the Eligibility criteria for the Food Inspector exam. This is as follows:


Eligibility criteria:

The applicant must be an Indian.

The applicant must have passed graduation in medicine or must have bachelor degree I Agriculture,Pharmacy,Food Technology,Dairy Technology.

The applicants age must be in between 18 to 35 years.

Upper age limit extents upto :-

For SC/ ST/ OBC :- 5 years

For physically handicapped person :- 10 years.

The applicant must possess at least 120 hours with working experience in the use of Personal computers.

Exam pattern and syllabus for FCI exam

Paper I
General Science ( 50 marks)
Reasoning (50 marks)
Quantitative aptitude (50 marks)
English (50 marks)

Paper II
Quantitative (100 marks)
English and Comprehension (100 marks)

Paper III
Biological Science (200 marks)
