I have completed B. Pharmacy and now want to become Food Inspector so please give me all details including Eligibility Criteria?

Food Inspectors keep close vigilance on food processors, manufacturers and distributors for violation of safety and sanitation. Inspectors report violations to the appropriate regulatory agency and are responsible for ensuring that foods are suitable for human consumption. Skills required for a Food Inspector: - Critical thinking - Knowledge of laws and legal codes - Ability to solve problems - Judgment and decision making - Co-ordination of personnel - Trouble shooting - Management of personnel Eligibility Criteria for Food Inspector: Age: Candidates aged between 18 and 25 years of age are eligible to apply for the post of Food Inspector. Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed graduation in medicine or have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, pharmacy, food technology and dairy technology. Procedure of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on performance in written test and interview. UPSC All India Food Inspector Exam: Union Public Service Commission directs All India Food Inspector Exam for recruitment of food inspectors in various offices around the country. This is a national level exam consisting of technical and aptitude based questions. Educational qualification: - Graduates in medicine with one year training in food inspection. - Bachelors degree in science stream with chemistry as a compulsory. -Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Public Health/ Veterinary Science/Dairy echnology/Pharmacy / Food Technology Pattern of exam: The test pattern comprises of questions on followings: Technical side includes science subjects Numerical ability GK questions English language Duration of the exam: 150 minutes. |

Here I am giving you more information about this exam: Eligibility: Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Qualification for FCI exam: Candidate must have graduation degree in any branch from a recognized university. Age Limit: Minimum age is 18 years. Maximum age is 27 years.
